Tip 531: Delete Published Calendars

Outlook 2007 offers an option to easily publish calendars to Office Online but figuring out how to stop publishing the calendars is more of a challenge for many users.

First, delete the calendar from Outlook. Go to Tools, Account Settings and look on the Published Calendars tab. Delete the calendar you no longer want to publish. This will stop the publishing but not remove it from Office online.

To delete it from Office Online go to http://office.microsoft.com and sign in using your passport (upper right side of screen). When you are logged in, next to your name in the upper right will be a link called My Office Online. Click it.  This brings you to a screen with links to the services your passport is subscribed to.

In the left navigation area will be a link for “Outlook Calendar Sharing Service”. Clicking it will take you to the calendar management page where you can delete calendars, change permissions, or delete your calendar profile.
