When you need to copy a table of data, such as names and phone numbers, create a new view that uses just the fields you need. Select the rows you need, then copy and paste into another document. If the document is OLE-aware, you'll need to paste into Notepad first, then Select All and copy from Notepad, otherwise, the actual contacts are pasted as objects, not text.
