A reader wants to know how to show the date on appointments in the To-Do Bar:
“When I look at my appointments in the To Do Bar I can't tell which day of
the week the appointment is for since it only shows the appointment time. It
does show up when I move the mouse over the appointment but I would prefer just
to look at it and see the date. Is there some setting I need to change? “
The To-do bar shows the next xx appointments (based on a number you choose) up to 30 days out. Only the day of the week is shown if it’s scheduled within a week, the day and date if it a future week. This is not configurable.
You should see the time and date in this
format for appointments within the next 7 days:
Subject
Fri 8:30 AM -10:00 AM
And this format for appointments more than 7
days out:
Subject
Sat 11/22 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
The To-Do Bar options dialog is found at Tools,
Options, Other Tab.
