The following is a list of programs you can use with Outlook. I've used them all at one time or another and they all work well with current versions of Outlook. Some are free, others are shareware and well worth the investment. Looking for Windows utilities? See the programs list at poremsky.com.
Auto-Mate - Uses rules to move mail from your Inbox (or other folders) based on several criteria, including the age of the message (as in hours, days, or weeks later).
Attachment Options -- Works with Outlook 2000-SP3/2002/2003, allows you to configure the attachment blocking settings from Tools, Options. Written by Ken Slovak.
Extended Reminders and Reminder Manager -- Get reminders on items in any email, contacts, tasks or calendar folder in your default mail store. Reminder Manager works on all message stores in the profile. Written by Ken Slovak.
PocketKnife Peek -- Free Outlook add-in for screening your e-mail as plain text before opening it.
OutlookSpy -- A must have for developers. Replaces or supplements mdbvue.exe utility.
DocMessageClass -- A free utility to change the forms used on Outlook items.
KnockOut -- Free Utility for your system tray. Use it as a visual reminder to see if Outlook or Word is running in a hidden state and close them using Knockout if they are. Also provides shortcuts to create new Outlook items.
UrlRun AddIn - A free utility that is based on a Windows utility called UrlRun. Use it to fix URLs split between lines in a plain text email. It removes spaces and > characters when an URL is split between forward lines in an email.
