Can I rearrange the default folders (e.g., Outbox, Sent Items, Calendar) in Outlook 2013's Navigation Pane?
Yes, the ability to change the sort order of folders in the Navigation Pane or folder list is new to Outlook 2013. You can sort folders alphabetically or arrange them in any order. This works with both the default folders and any user-created folders.
Look on the Folder tab for the button named Show all folders A-Z. Click it to toggle alphabetical sorting off then drag folders to re-arrange.
When the button is highlighted, the Inbox, Drafts, Sent Items, and Deleted Items folders are at the top of the folder list and the remaining folders are sorted alphabetically.
When the button is off, or not highlighted, the folders are initially in alphabetical order. After you re-arrange the folders, the button will switch between the sorting with the default folders at the top and your last folder arrangement.
