Tip 612: New Appointment with Contact

I thought I shared this tip recently, but search can’t find it, so here goes. If it’s a repeat we’ll blame the search engine. :)

“Sometimes I have a Contact open and want to set up an appointment linked to the Contact.  There is a Meeting Request option – but I don’t want to request a meeting, I just want to make an appointment. Is there a way to schedule a New Appointment from within a Contact and have it auto link to the Contact?”

Sure. Click to create the meeting request then cancel the meeting. It will drop back to an appointment with the contact linked.
