Tip 653: IE script errors

September 1, 2009
By

This problem comes up in cycles: “If I open an email and go to print I get an error message:

Internet Explorer Script Error
An error has occurred in the script on this page
Line 253
Char 1
Error unspecified error
code 0
URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.js
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

It doesn’t matter how I answer the question, I can’t print the email.”

The usual fix for this type of error message is to type the following at Start menu, Run or the Start search field in Vista and Windows7:
regsvr32 ole32.dll
