Tip 780: Using Publisher to Design Email

Thinking about using Publisher to design your newsletter?

One word: Don’t.

When Publisher sends email, it converts the design to a bunch of images in a table. You can’t edit the text in Outlook – because there is no text to edit, only pictures of the text. Design the message in Outlook or an HTML editor instead (use File, Send after previewing IE or use Outlook’s Insert File command and insert the saved HTML page as text.).
