Tip 788: New Connector Problems

We’re seeing complaints from users with the forced upgrade to the Outlook Hotmail Connector.

Begin with basic troubleshooting steps, including the following:
1.     Reboot the computer after installation
2.     Uninstall and reinstall the connector
3.     Remove the account from your profile and recreate it after restarting Outlook

If it’s still not working, we recommend opening a support incident with Microsoft to investigate this problem further. Go to http://support.microsoft.com/ph/14864#tab0 and click the link under Get Help Now. If you need to enter a Product ID, enter the Product ID from Outlook, not the Connector.
