Tip 141: Outlook Today and Folder Homepages

Outlook Today is a folder homepage to the root folder of your mailbox. If you accidentally (or purposely) move messages to this folder, use Find or Advanced Find to locate them or turn off the folder homepage by right clicking on the folder name, choosing Properties, then select the Home Page tab and remove the check from the show home page by default. Repeat the steps to show Outlook Today.

You can add any HTML page as a folder home page to any folder, and depending on your version of Outlook, you can also use JPEGs, text files or other documents as folder home pages.
