Tip 297: Drag and Drop to Create New Items

One of my favorite Outlook tricks is dragging messages to other folders to create a new item – it's favorite enough that long term members of this list are very familiar with this technique.

Did you also know you can select a part of a message in the preview pane (or an open message) and drag it to another folder (or folder button) to create a new item with the selected text in the body or notes field?
