Tip 405: Office 2007 Free Support

If there is a feature in Outlook 2007 that doesn't work (or doesn't work as expected), or was in older versions and is missing from Outlook 2007, you have 90 days to make yourself heard by filing a support incident. This is the best way to let Microsoft know that there's a problem with the application – while they do scan the discussion groups (and read my tips),
they'll have a better understanding of the depth of the problem if you file a support incident. It may not result in changes in future versions, but at least you'll have your say.

If you have a retail version of Office/Outlook 2007, you'll have unlimited support for Office/Outlook 2007 for the first 90 days after activation FREE of charge. See //support.microsoft.com/gp/vista_supoffnew for more information on the support policy.

A word of caution: Don't abuse this service with frivolous calls. Use it for problems you can't solve using Google or the discussion groups at Office Online or when features you relied on were removed, such as the 2 column week view or labels morphing into color categories.
