Tip 414: Copy Error Dialogs

Tech support often tells users not to send screenshots of errors but to just send the text off error message. To improve accuracy, Office (and many OS dialogs) allow you to copy the text using Ctrl+C to paste into an email message or form field.

Verify the  text from the error dialog's title bar is included when you paste the error text (or add it, if you type the error message). The title may make it easier to diagnose the problem.
