Tip 613: Calendar name wrong

This is another tip I thought I already shared, but I can’t find it in the archives, so here goes…

A user asked "I have several calendars in the navigation pane. If I select a different calendar and untick the first one it remains listed in the title bar and taskbar. If I go to the Inbox and come back to the calendar, the names are correct."

This is caused by Outlook’s inability to refresh the window when you check and uncheck calendars and also affects “this folder only” views,

When you open the calendar module, the calendar name and views for the selected calendar folder load – while selecting a calendar from the list just selects that calendar to view, it does not refresh the folder so its views aren't loaded and the name in the title bar doesn’t change..

To refresh the view, click on the Mail module button and then Calendar button.
