Tip 885: Outlook 2010 SP1 released

Office 2010 SP1 released Office 2010 SP1 was released earlier today and is available on Microsoft Update. Office 2010 SP1 contains cumulative and public updates to date for the various applications that are part of the Office suite and many previously released hotfixes for Outlook are included in SP1.

To download and install, log into
Microsoft Update and check for new updates.

Description of Office 2010 SP1
(Includes links to downloads for those who don't want to or can't use Automatic updates.)

Note that this update does not fix the issue with plain text templates (Tip 823: Templates are converted to plain text messages) – the fix for this issue will be released in a separate hotfix.

SP1 adds the ability to configure Outlook to always use the default sending account. It also fixes an issue with the snooze time not resetting to 5 minutes and restores the "before start" options found in previous versions. It also includes previously released hotfixes, updates or known issues. See Outlook 2010 SP1 for more information.
