Tip 1089: Duplicate a meeting request

While you could use a macro to copy meeting details to another meeting… if you plan ahead, it takes just a few keystrokes to send an identical meeting to several people.

How can I duplicate a meeting invitation content and just change time and invitees?

I schedule interviews. One candidate may have up to 6 different people who they interview with and each interviewee gets an individual invite to their scheduled time slot. Usually consecutive appointments, all have the same content (attachments, subject, location, ect) but the time and invitee changes. Is there a way to copy an original invite and just change the time and invitee so that I don't have to cut and paste the same invitation 6 times?

There sure is… create an appointment containing all of the details and attachments. Save it. Then select it and press Ctrl+C to make a copy. Ctrl+V pastes it in place. Repeat Ctrl+V to make additional copies.

Open one copy of the appointment and edit it as needed, then click Invite Attendees to turn it in to a meeting request. complete it then send. Repeat with the remaining invitations.
