A reader writes:
I need to send calendar (week or month) to someone by email.
While older versions of Outlook only supports sending vCal's (individual appointments), you can use a Word template to create a document containing your calendar, then save it as a document or HTML and send it as an attachment.
You'll find a choice of Word templates here: Calendar Printing Tools for Microsoft Outlook
Beginning with Outlook 2007, Outlook includes an option to Send calendars by email, which creates a new message with an ics file attached as well as an HTML calendar embedded in the message. Users control how many days are included and how much detail, from availability only to full details. Right click on the calendar you want to share and choose Send via Email (Outlook 2007) or Share > Email Calendar (Outlook 2010/2013).
The finished result will use the format shown the following screenshot. (This was made using the next 7 days options, Availability only options).
