Question:
How do I get appointment's start time to be displayed in numbers in the month view? I can see them in the To-Do Bar, but not in calendar itself.
Answer:
This is one time size really does matter. Like many things in Outlook, what you see is directly related to the size of the window.
If there is enough room for at least 8 characters of the appointment subject, the times display. If not, you'll only see the subject. So reduce (or minimize) the widths of the navigation pane and to-do bar and the times magically appear.
A larger monitor helps too. :)
If you prefer a cleaner display and don't want to see the times, drag the edge of the navigation pane or to-do bar inward until the times disappear. When you need to see the time, hover the cursor over the appointment.
It works the same way in Outlook 2003, but because there is no To-do bar, most users have a larger calendar area, so the times are shown.
