Tip 441: Create Address Buttons

Do you send messages to the same people often? Save a few steps by creating a hyperlinked toolbar button that holds their address in a mailto: command.

  1. Go to View, Toolbars, Customize to open the customize dialog.
  2. Drag a button from the command section to a toolbar – I usually use Mail Message.
  3. Right click on the button in the toolbar and choose Assign Hyperlink… Open.
  4. Select the email button on the lower left and fill in the fields and Ok.

Click the button to open a preaddressed email message form.
